Imogen Nichols Summer Vacation Student
I am an undergraduate Biochemistry student at the University of Bristol going into my fourth year on the MSci Biochemistry course. I spent the summer of 2018, funded by studentship from the Society for Reproduction and Fertility, studying some of the functions the actin cytoskeleton plays in the accurate segregation of chromosomes during female meiosis in mammals. I enjoyed my time in the lab and so I have returned this summer to study the wonderful biology of mammalian oocytes further.
